Clinical Simulation Program Overview
The UW Health Clinical Simulation Program (CSP) offers simulation education that advances safe, high-quality care to improve health outcomes in Wisconsin and beyond. Health care simulation is a rapidly growing field, and more and more credentialing organizations are requiring simulation training as part of their curriculum.
The Clinical Simulation Program is is endorsed by the American Society of Anesthesiologists and accredited by the American College of Surgeons — Accredited Education Institutes and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
Our Mission
Create a comprehensive health care simulation program that:
- Advances the science of simulation in health care through innovation and research
- Brings educational techniques and innovations to all learners
- Champions competency-based education for all health care disciplines and programs
- Develops personal growth, professional development, and collaboration between interprofessional groups to enhance standards of patient care, safety, and population health
- Engages state, national, and global communities through health care simulation
