We rely on partnerships, grants, donations and volunteers to achieve our goal of improving access to health care among the Madison area’s most underserved populations.
Student Volunteer Opportunities
MEDiC accepts UW–Madison student volunteers from the following programs: MD, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Physician Assistant.
MEDiC student volunteers must attend a mandatory orientation before they can begin volunteering in clinics. MEDiC holds two volunteer sessions each year. One is held in June and one is in September.

Clinician Volunteer Opportunities
MEDiC welcomes practitioners in all medical fields and specialties to serve as volunteers in our clinics. Both attending and intern/resident physicians are eligible to participate.
Physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists and nurse practitioners who have an appointment with the UW School of Medicine and Public Health are eligible to volunteer immediately. Those without a faculty appointment are invited to apply for a volunteer appointment.

Donate to MEDiC
Online
Online contributions can be made securely through the UW Foundation. All gifts will be acknowledged in writing by the UW Foundation with a letter that can be used for tax purposes.
